Happy Holidays!

As the year winds down, I'm taking the time to reflect on the last year. It's Birch Tree Creative's first full year in business, and I'm busier than ever and so thankful for all the cheering and support I've received in the past year! My business has grown a staggering 700%! I can hardly believe it!

Lessons learned:

  1. Have a process! Taking on clients by using a formal process behind the scenes is helpful to make sure that all my I's are dotted, and T's are crossed. I will look into using my CRM to automate some of the processes this year.

  2. Don't be afraid to let people know you're unsure how to do something. I love to learn new things for my business (hello Adobe suite!), which has turned a potential negative to a positive to let my clients know that I'm willing to work hard for them.

  3. Don't be afraid to say yes! I was featured on the Longarm League, and hands down, this was the biggest growth to my business over the past few months. While I had a lot of anxiety before the feature, I've met many creative business owners with whom I have been able to build a partnership.

  4. Take a break! Being able to step away from work and focus on spending time with my family has helped me with being able to focus on my work upon our return.

Now is the time to reflect on what I'll set for goals for 2023. I'm so excited to see what next year brings!
